The Attraction Blog
Of Judie McMath

December 14, 2011

Today my husband and I were discussing a problem we were having getting a form faxed to someone we wanted to stop doing business with.  We had faxed the form twice and they kept saying they didn't get it.  We had been focusing on this all morning and thought we had finally resolved the issue.  I settled down to work on updating web pages.  I was updating the Black Pepper page, adding some more Google ads, and correcting some misspelled words.  I then uploaded the page so it was live on the internet.  Google Adsense ads are supposed to display on the pages relative to the content of the page.  The page was about black pepper, so the ads should have had someting to do with nutrition, herbs, and the like.  When the page came up live on the internet, guess what was displaying in the Google ads?  "Internet Fax"  "Fax Machines" "Fax Via Email" and "Send Faxes Free".  What a perfect example of the Law of Attraction at work!  What you focus on, you get more of.  There is abslutely no earthly reason why faxes should have been coming up in that ad, except that we had put a lot of energy into dealing with faxes all morning, so that's what we were attracting.

I have decided to start writing in this blog daily (or as often as I can remember to) about my daily experiences with the Law of Attraction.  Many people don't understand how the Law of Attraction works in every day life, and you can explain it all day in technical terms, but sometimes the best way is just to give examples.

For example,  this week I had reviewed Bruce Lipton's "Biology of Belief" presentation and Rob Williams' Psych-K presentation on You Tube.  I used some of the techniques before going to bed with the phrase "I am experiencing abundance and prosperity."  The next day, my husband and I were discussing our finances and the phone rang.  I found out that some training that I was scheduled to take in January so that I could become an independent contractor had been moved to December, which meant that I would be getting my first compensation for that work in January, just what I needed.  I still had the phone in my hand when my PayPal App lit up saying I had a Paypal payment because someone had purchased something from this website.  I just had to smile.  I love the way this Universe works!

I have a very strong desire to work from home andNOT be employed by someone else.  I want work that is flexible and where I can set my own schedule, take time off when I want to, and basically be in control of my own life.  This is the kind of work I would recommend to everyone.  I have expressed this to the Universe many times, and in fact had quit my last job with that in mind.  I believe when we think, speak, act, meditate on, dream, and believe that we ARE a certain thing, then we will become that thing.  I had freed myself from a confining, dead-end job so that I could pursue my dreams, and so because I believe that, the universe responds in kind.  Like attracts like.  If I want a certain life but I have not given the universe any evidence that I am preparing for that life, why would the universe choose to bless me with what I want?  It's like, if I was expecting a baby but I didn't prepare in any way for the birth of that child.  Didn't buy baby clothes, didn't prepare a sleeping area, didn't prepare to alter my lifestyle to allow for a baby, and just basically went on with life as it was, would I be prepared when that child arrived?  No, giving birth to the kind of life we want is our "baby" - and we must make changes to prepare for its arrival.  You can't just wish for something or pray for something and hope it's going to come true.  It's not going to happen.

This is not like Samantha on "Bewitched" where you wiggle your nose and something appears.  There is internal work you have to do.  Changing your thoughts, beliefs and intentions takes effort.  Sometimes, depending upon your level of knowledge and commitment, you may need help to change those ideas.  Most of these ideas are buried in your subconscious, and you are trying to change the subconscious through conscious means.  It won't work, which is why 70% of counseling is not helpful.  You can talk all day about how you formed your ideas and behaviors but talking about it isn't going to change it, in most cases.  You have to reach into the subconsciouus and change things on an energetic level, something you need EFT, Psych-K or some other similar method to do.

We'll see what the Law of Attraction will bring me tomorrow.
