Chakra Journaling

What do they mean to you? How do they fit into your life? Elaborate as much as you can on them, try to just write about them and then read later, do not think to hard on this starter, just do it.

Root Chakra: Red
Issues:  security, stability, vitality, strength, courage and will.
Starter Words: worthiness, abundance, flow of life, security, change, material world, earliest relationship with mother, resolve and heal family strife, feeling disconnected, fears, vitality, will, leadership, strength, and courage.

Sacral Chakra: Orange
Issues: emotions and intuition
Starter Words:  Self-gratification, pleasure, feeling, healthy sexuality, emotional intelligence, boundaries, inner child, passion, excitement, emotional dependency, social skills, and desires.

Solar Plexus Chakra:  Yellow
Issues:  Sense of self, intellect, personal
             power and awareness
Starter Words:  Competitive, inner harmony, unity, confidence, purpose, vitality,  strength of will, spontaneous, self-esteem, victim mentality, controlling, manipulative,  dominating,  arrogance and self-definition.

Heart Chakra:  Green
Issues:  Compassion, forgiveness, love and
             unconditional love
Starter Words:  compassion, stability, trust, prosperity, forgiveness, unconditional love, demanding,  jealousy, co-dependency, possessive, empathy,  self-discovery, self-acceptance, peaceful, narcissistic.

Throat Chakra:  Blue
Issues:  Open,  honest, loving
             communication
Starter Words:  Self-control, truth, gossip, inability to communicate with others, creative, clear communication, discipline, talking,  inabiliuty to listen, creativitiy.

Third Eye Chakra:  Indigo
Issues:  LIfe lessons, spiritual awareness,
             and perceiving the truth
Starter Words:  Wisdom, guidance spiritual lessons, insight, intuition, imagination,  to see, concentration, memory, insensitivity, perception, visualize, thinking symbolically, dreams, clear seeing,  accurate interpretation.

Crown Chakra:  Violet
Issues:  higher consciousness, sense of
             oneness with all
Starter Words:  To know, hope, faith, spiritual quests,  life purpose, meaning of life, truth, spiritual connection, wisom, knowledge, open minded, spiritual addiction, rigid belief systems, materialism, greed, domination of others, aware, thoughtful, over-intellectualization, disassociation from body.

 

Now that you have written about all the issues that affect your chakras and who you are at your very core,  do you get a global sense of where you are going, and who you want to become along the way? Write about that.

What kind of spiritual support do you want, or think you will have, on this journey? Write about your true spiritual beliefs, not what society or your family or the church thinks you should believe. 

You create your own reality,  so you can construct for yourself the spiritual reality you want. If you simply want to connect with the universal energy of all, and celebrate the oneness of all things and people, do that. If you want to create for yourselves spirit guides, angels, or other spiritual support entities, do that. Or if you absolutely must believe in a god or goddess, do that. It's up to you, there is no right or wrong way. Whatever you feel best supports you at your spiritual center, and brings more meaning to your life, is what is right for you.
