Disease is NEVER caused by just one factor. It always involves an
interplay beteen physical, mental, emotional and spiritual factors.
Physical Factors:
Acidic pH
Poor Nutrition
Cellular Toxicity
Lack of Exercise
Lack of Sunshine
Environmental toxins
Lack of Proper Hydration
Creation of Energy Blockages
Disruptive Electromagnetic Fields
Mental & Emotional Factors:
Stress
Environmental Signals
Limiting Thoughts & Beliefs
Not Trusting your Guidance System
Spiritual Factors:
Judgmentalism
Unforgiveness
Nurturing Relationships
Disregarding your inner voice
The
presentation below is a seven-part video.

of Perception" presentation.
It
is important to see the whole presentation because
Dr. Lipton pulls together all his illustrations
into one understandable whole
in the last of the seven parts of the video.
Environmental Signals
The membrane of all living
cells contain antennae or receptors that pick up environmental signals.
Conventional
biomedical science used to teach that the mechanisms of the cell were
based upon Newtonian Physics. It is now known, however, that
cells operate using Quantum Mechanics. Newtonian Physics places the
emphasis on atoms and molecules while Quantum Physics places the
emphasis on vibrational energy frequencies. The antennae or receptors
on the surface of cells pick up energy signals being broadcast on
different
frequencies, much the same way your radio does.
Your mind is the primary factor influencing your physical health. Your
thoughts and feelings, your perception of reality, produce energy
signals that are
picked up by the receptors on the cell membrane. Certain frequencies
increase the health of your cells, while other frequencies decrease the
health of your cells.
There are two processes that take place in the cell: growth
processes or survival processes. Your cell can only be in one of
these modes at one time. If your perception of a sitruation
around you causes you to send messages of fear, distrust, or confusion
to the cell, the cell responds by going into survival mode. It's
kind of like the fight or flight response. If you perceive danger
in your environment, your body speeds up your heart rate and sends all
your extra blood to the arms and leg so you can run or fight.
That excess blood is taken away from non-vital processes at that
moment: digestion, reproduction and memory are all considered
non-survival processes. So when you are under severe stress, you
don't think or remember as clearly, you don't digest your food well,
and other non-essential processes are disrupted. In the same way,
when the cell perceives real or imagined problems in your life, it
responds by going into survival mode, which means that the processess
which bring life and health to your body STOP. Your body cannot
produce good health when it feels it's just trying to survival all the
stresses you believe you are under. Your immune system doesn't
function properly and you can develop all kinds of diseases.
Notice I said
REAL OR IMAGINED stresses.
Let's say you have
a job that is secure and plenty of money for food and the basic
necessities of life. But for some reason, you get to listening to
all this doom and gloom they are speaking about the economy, and you
start worrying that you might lose your job, even though there has not
even been a hint that this might happen. You are sending survival
mode signals to your cells, and this causes your cells to be flooded
with strsss hormones and the cells go into survival mode. Some
people live in a constant state of stress, always worrying about
everything. You don't know how much damage you are doing to
yourself by thinking this way.
This means that we can actively change the health of our cells through
our thoughts and beliefs. Don't believe that the body or mind can
produce energy frequencies? Have you ever had an EKG or
EEG? The EKG measures the energy frequency produced by your
heart, and the EEG measures the energy frequency produced by your
brain.
