I Am Enough
 
Don't try to tell me
That I shouldn't be alone.
I am enough
To make it on my own.
I can make or do
Anything I need.
I am full of unlimited
Possibilities.
I am enough
To make myself completely happy.
Don't laugh, I know
That it sounds sappy.
I need no one else's
Validation or approval
To be who I am,
I'm being completely truthful.
I don't need to change
My weight, my hair, or how I talk
To satisfy the masses,
They can just take a walk.
I don't need any "experts"
To help decide what's wrong with me.
If I'm happy with myself,
Then it doesn't matter what others see.
I don't have to work, or play or live
According to your expectations.
The universe daily gives me
Perfect validation.
