The altered field returns to the hand and is detected by the electromagnetic field nerve sensors. These nerve sensors fire in response to the received field. The ground substance is affected by the received signal, either directly or through the secondary firing of nerves. The whole body is affected by nervous system signaling and by the transmission of information through the system of ground regulation.
