Alternatives to Medicine
The
purpose of the
Center
for Unhindered Living is to provide
information that will assist individuals in maintaining an autonomous
lifestyle and avoid the hndrances of mainstream, allopathic
medicine. What are the hindrances? Painful, expensive
treatments that do not treat the cause of the disease but only manage
the symptoms. Treatments that do not correct the energy imbalances in
the body. Treatments that do not address the mental and emotional roots
of disease. Treatments that harm more than help. Also, once
doctors get involved in the decision-making process, an individual's
autonomy is often compromised. They are used to people "following
their orders" as if "they" are in charge. They also order a lot
of unnecessary tests and procedures just to avoid malpractice. It's our
bodies and our decision! Individuals do not have to participate
in social
conformity,
nor be controlled by the institutions which perpetuate the myths
of our
society - schools, churches, and the institutions of modern medicine.
We
simply want people to know they don't have to accept this
hindrance. People everywhere are taking control of their lives, and
taking responsibility for their health
