What is Kinesiology?
Kinesiology
is the study of the muscles of the body, and specifically refers to
manual muscle testing. There are 693 muscles in the human body
and they all communicate with the brain and with each other, as well as
with the internal organs. Specific muscles communicate with
specific organs. The body is one big electrical system, and when there
is a disruption in any one of the circuits in the body, dysfunction
results. These disruptions can happen due to physical injury,
emotional distress, poor nutrition, sensitivity to chemicals and to
electrical devices, just to name a few. By using muscle testing,
the kinesiologist can determine what made the muscle go out of balance
and can correct it. He can tell you what specific food caused the
problem, or if some stressful life event or emotional upset caused it,
or if sitting at the computer for 7 hours straight might be the
culprit. He can re-balance the muscles and help you learn how to
stay balanced in the future.
You can learn to do muscle testing yourself and it can be very
valuable because your body works like a computer. It can answer
yes or no questions by turning a circuit off or on. So you can
ask your body, "Am I sensitive to wheat?" and then test a muscle and if
the muscle goes weak, you have the answer yes. Or you can hold a
particular food in one hand and test the arm to see if it goes weak
when holding that particular food. By process of elimination you
can weed out the causes of your physical and emotional problems.

One technique that
is akin to Kinesiology is EFT (Emotional
Freedom
Technique) which uses tapping on certain pressure points to correct
energy disruptions in the body. We teach EFT here at The
Center for Unhindered Living. We can do a session with you by
phone, in an online class or in person. We try to incorporate
muscle testing into some aspects of our EFT classes.
Indivivdual One-Hour Session, in person or by phone - $60
Two-Hour Class Session, in person or online class - $40
