The Lifeflow

Kingdom of the clouds
You draw my spirit higher
There’s something I can’t reach
That my unseen hands desire

Doing what I love
Will bring me closer to the dove
Throw caution to the wind
And imagine again and again

I’m straining up and outward
I can’t contain my power
It’s a fragrant, forceful presence
In a trysting, anchored bower

You fill me with the lifeflow
It moves and forms within
Then emanates from every cell
And turns the world again

The power of the universe
Rests within my very being
Learning that and trusting it
Brings a patient, constant seeing

I say and do, I see and feel
With the eyes above the world
My imagination steers the course
Which reality unfurls
