Like Attracts Like
A Principle for Multidimensional Living

In your life, there are probably some
areas that are lacking. Those areas are like black holes, and
because they are probably areas where you feel you need something you
don't have, they suck in everything around you that is negative.
That's because Like Attracts Like. Whatever you have, or are, you
attract more of.
There's a verse in the Bible which says "To him who has, more
will be given." I never understood that verse for a long
time. After all, it seems unfair. Shouldn't those who have
less be given more because they need more? Why give more to those
who seem to already have enough?
I never understood that there is a system set up in the universe by
which everyone receives what they need. You don't have to ask for
anything, you automatically get what you need and want. If you
understand the principle of Like Attracts Like.
Where is the evidence that the universe is always trying to give you
what you need, and knows very well how to do this? Have you ever
cut your finger? What did you have to do to get your finger to
heal? Nothing, right? Your body is already programmed to
know exactly what to do. It will heal on it's own unless you
prevent it by putting obstacles in the way of the healing. If the
cut is not kept clean so it gets infected, or if your imune system is
not working well because of poor nutrition, it might have trouble
healing. But if you remove those obstcles, by keeping the cut
clean and by making sure your body gets everything it needs so it can
generate new tissue, then your body knows what to do.
One of the obstacles that get's in the universe's way is your own
thoughts and beliefs. The universe automatically responds to what
you believe about
yourself. If you believe you are poor, needy, sick, and
just generally have bad luck, then that's what you attract to
yourself. But if you feel successful, wealthy, healthy and happy,
then you will attract that. Let me explain why.
Your conscious mind, the part of your mind that you are aware of, is
constantly worrying about what happened in the past or what will happen
in the future. But your subconscious mind, the part you are not
consciously aware of, lives only in the present moment. It also
is the part of your mind that where long term memory storage
resides. Your subconscioius remembers everything it is exposed
to. Your short term memory can only take in about 2000 bits of
infomration per second, whereas your subconscious can take in more than
50,000 bits of information per second. Your conscious mind cannot
give attention to all those things at once, but the subconscious stores
them. You may not have a conscious memory of many things that
have happened to you, but your subconscious remembers. That's why
many of the things that affect you, that cause you to think and behave
the way you do, are unknown to you. Have you ever had a bad habit
that you have tried and tried to stop but seem unable to? Have
you had anything like a phobia, irrational fear, or panic attack, but
don't know why you developed these fears? Your subconscious
does. It never forgets anything.
So many people, when they wish, pray or ask for something they need,
they phrase it in the future , or they phrase it so that it reflects
lack. For example, you might pray and say "God please heal me of
cancer" or you might read that Bible verse that says "Believe and you
shall have it" and so you say, to yourself "I believe I will be healed
of cancer." By the same token, if you need money, you might say
"Please give me money" or "I believe all my bills will be paid."
None of these statements will work because they are all coming from a
position in which the Universe cannot give you what you want.
Your subconscious only operates in present-time, so anything phrased in
the future tense does not activate the subconscious, which is where you
need to be to make things happen. Also, the principle of
"Like attracts like" says that that you are or what you believe or say
is what you will get back. So in the statement "God please heal
me of cancer" what are you speaking....Cancer! Your
statement should be "I am perfectly healthy, my body is strong
and whole and is functioning normally." You must speak in the
present tense and speak as if you already are that which you
want. If you say "I believe all my bills will be paid" you are
not speaking in the present tense and you are speaking about
what....Bills! So if you speak about bills, the universe is going
to give you more bills because like attracts like. What you are
speaking is what your subconscious hears and internalizes. If you
say "Please give me money" you are acknowledging that you don't have
it, so what do you get back....more lack of money. If you speak
of lack, you will get more lack. If you speak of disease, you
will get back more disease. You must speak of what you want, but
in the present tense and as if it's already true, and positively, not
negatively.
Examples:
"My body is strong, I am healthy and whole."
"My immune system is strong and protects my health."
"I do my best and my best is good enough."
"I am an intelligent and capable person."
"I attract money easily and use it wisely."
"I deserve happiness and success in my life."
"I am a worthy and valuable person."
"I enjoy doing work that allows me to pursue my passion and joy."
"I have rich, spiritual meaning and fulfillment in my life."
"I recognize when I receive inspiration and I follow it."
"I am a loving person and attract loving relationships."
"The people in my life give me their best because I believe the best
about them."
"I have everything I want and need."
When my Mom died, she left me a little money, enough to buy a hot tub
to put on my patio, which is something I'd always wanted. After
it was installed, every time I'd sit in it I'd look up at the stars and
lean back and thank my Mom, and I'd feel so much gratitude to the
universe, and I felt like a different person. I felt rich,
because my perception was that only wealthy people could afford hot
tubs. So every time I sat in it, I nurtured that image of
myself. I'd say, "I am healthy, wealthy, happy and whole. I
have everything I could possibly need or want." Then I started
looking for opportunities to present themselves that would prove that
statement true.
Low and behold, those opportunities started to show up.
Masaru
Emoto,
a Japanese researcher, found by freezing droplets of
water and photographing them under a darkfield microscope, that when
one speaks words of thank you, love and appreciation, the water
organized itself into beautiful, symmetrical crystals, and that
negative
thoughts and words made the water disorganized and unstructured. It was
clear from his research that water is alive and responsive to all our
thoughts and emotions. Human beings are 90% water, so it's obvious that
negative thoughts, beliefs, and feelings can produce changes in other
people that are negative.
What you believe
about yourself
will affect whether or not the success you want will come to you.
But more important than our beliefs are the feelings
our beliefs create in us. Your feelings create a much more
powerful movement in the fabric of time and space so that you can
change your life.
We are NOT powerless victims of our
physical reality. Click Here to listen to scientist Gregg Braden give a
recorded talk about how you can really change your life!
It is sometimes hard to change the old beliefs we have because they are
subconscius, and just repeating these affirmations to yourself often
does not work, because you are trying to make changes in the
subconscious using conscious means. You need a method to tap into
the subconscious and change those beliefs where they reside. To
do this, you need a technique like the The Accu-Balancing
Technique. We can help you with that.
