In your life, there are probably some
areas that are lacking. Those areas are like black holes, and
because they are probably areas where you feel you need something you
don't have, they suck in everything around you that is negative.
That's because Like Attracts Like. Whatever you have, or are, you
attract more of.
There's a verse in the Bible which says "To him who has, more
will be given." I never understood that verse for a long
time. After all, it seems unfair. Shouldn't those who have
less be given more because they need more? Why give more to those
who seem to already have enough?
I never understood that there is a system set up in the universe by
which everyone receives what they need. You don't have to ask for
anything, you automatically get what you need and want. If you
understand the principle of Like Attracts Like.
The universe automatically responds to what you believe about
yourself. If you believe you are poor, needy, sick, and
just generally have bad luck, then that's what you attract to
yourself. But if you feel successful, wealthy, healthy and happy,
then you will attract that.
When my Mom died, she left me a little money, enough to buy a hot tub
to put on my patio, which is something I'd always wanted. After
it was installed, every time I'd sit in it I'd look up at the stars and
lean back and thank my Mom, and I'd feel so much gratitude to the
universe, and I felt like a different person. I felt rich,
because my perception was that only wealthy people could afford hot
tubs. So every time I sat in it, I nurtured that image of
myself. I'd say, "I am healthy, wealthy, happy and whole. I
have everything I could possibly need or want." Then I started
looking for opportunities to present themselves that would prove that
statement true.
Low and behold, those opportunities started to show up.
Masaru Emoto,
a Japanese researcher, found by freezing droplets of
water and photographing them under a darkfield microscope, that when
one speaks words of thank you, love and appreciation, the water
organized itself into beautiful, symmetrical crystals, and that
negative
thoughts and words made the water disorganized and unstructured. It was
clear from his research that water is alive and responsive to all our
thoughts and emotions. Human beings are 90% water, so it's obvious that
negative thoughts, beliefs, and feelings can produce changes in other
people that are negative.
What you believe about yourself
will affect whether or not the success you want will come to you.
But more important than our beliefs are the feelings
our beliefs create in us. Your feelings create a much more
powerful movement in the fabric of time and space so that you can
change your life.
