Laugh, Cry, Sing, Dance, Feel !
How much time do we spend thinking things like, "When I get that job I want, then I'll be happy," or "When I get that car or house I want, then things will be better," or "When I find someone to spend my life with, then everything will be OK"? Why do we wait, and focus on how happy we will be sometime IN THE FUTURE? This makes us MISERABLE !
I am 47 years old and I am no longer willing to wait to be BLISSFULLY HAPPY ! You must make the commitment to do SOMETHING, at least ONE thing every single day that makes you experience pure, blissful joy. You may say, "Pure, blissful joy does not exist. At least, not in my life. And I doubt it exists at all, for anyone." You ARE WRONG !
Thoreau said, "The mass of men lead lives of quiet desperation." THROW OFF that desperation and don't be quiet any more ! ! ! LAUGH, CRY, SING, DANCE, FEEL ! Do you
hear that tiny voice way down deep inside you? Listen right now.
There is a desperate longing inside you,
trying to bubble to the surface, something that wants to be expressed,
some action begging to be taken, some feeling you dare not let yourself
feel, some hope you have almost obliterated. But it's still alive, and
it will grow and expand if given even the smallest encouragement.
Aren't you to the point yet where you are tired of being sad, tired of being frustrated, tired of being angry, tired of having to wait? So, DON'T anymore. Here are some things that help bring those realities inside you to the surface: Music Movement Aromas Visualization Color Tactile stimulation Experiencing nature Pets Gratitude Doing something kind for someone else Go to Feast for the Soul to sign up for daily email encouragement!!!!!! I invite you to begin a Joy Journal
