There are many types of communication which we would categorize as spiritual. This depends upon your own private beliefs about the nature of that which is unseen. We have all at one time or another probably experienced a situation in which we heard a little voice in our head telling us something, or we simply knew something which we didn't know before without any rational explanation for how we knew it. There are different ways which people explain the ability to do this. Some believe they receive this information from a spiritual entity, a god or goddess, holy spirit, an angel, spirit guide, or a friend or family member that has passed on. Others believe that this information is stored on an energy matrix called the non-local intelligence, and that it is available to all of us anytime we need it. It is simply downloaded into our brains just as you download a file into your computer. Then others believe that it is simply is a function of our higher selves, that we are born with all the answers inside us, we just have to learn to access those answers.

No matter which belief is yours, spiritual communication is a valuable method for facilitating change in your life. There are always times when you feel you need more information about which direction to go in life, or need to understand yourself better and determine why you do the things you do. Spiritual communication can help give you the information you need.

In times past, it was believed that removing obstacles in your life was due only to your own hard work, a miracle, or an answer to a prayer by a God or Goddess. We now know that there is nothing miraculous; all these things can be accomplished through simple manipulation of electromagnetic fields, or though quantum physics. You can control your own destiny through the Law of Attraction and through EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique) which effects much more than emotions. The technique aligns the energy of your body with the fundamental frequency of the universe, so that you are able to attract whatever events you want to experience. With EFT, you can release physical pain, get rid of emotional issues, invite prosperity and abundance into your life, improve relationships, and even seek information you don't have, and it will come to you. This is not miraculous or really in any way "spiritual" in the usual understanding of the word. In actual practice, things that have been called "spiritual" simply referred to events which were unseen and unexplainable. We can now explain them.

Therefore, "spirituality" in the traditional sense no longer exists. You are in control of your own life and destiny, and you needn't rely upon the concept of gods or goddesses, or believe that you must worship or implore any entity higher than yourself for help. You already have all the help you need, you just must learn to access this help. It comes from within you, linked energetically to the very fabric of the universe itself.

However, this is not to disparage anyone's personal beliefs. If it comforts you or makes you feel better to think about the universe in terms of God or the Goddess, it is certainly your right to structure your belief system to include them. We respect all belief systems, and if you speak of the power of the universe that is within you in terms of a deity or deities, we certainly respect this point of view.

We suggest that you begin your quest for spiritual communication by journaling. This is a way to begin getting in touch with your conscious mind before you attempt to communicate with your higher self, or other spiritual entities, as the case may be.

Buy a notebook, or create a file on your computer, especially for this purpose. Then, make a committment to write in that file or notebook every day. Write about what is important to you, what concerns you, what makes you happy, what your hopes and dreams are, anything you like.

If there is a particular question that you want an answer to, write about that. Also state in your journal that you wish to find an answer to this question, and you will accept the answer through whatever method or means is available. Make no value judgment about what way would be best. Just allow it to happen.

Open yourself up to discovering new ways to obtain answers to your questions. The information is out there, it will find its way to you in whatever way you enable or allow.

We believe one way you receive this information is through the electrical system of your body. When you make it known that you are seeking answers to particular questions, sometimes this will open up enough of the electrical pathways that the information finds it's way to you, and you recognize the information cognitively. This is how the spiritual gifts of wisdom, knowledge and discernment work, as well as how people with psychic ability are able to discover information which they have no conscious knowledge of. Both spiritual gifts and psychic ability are one in the same, they are simply called by different names depending upon the intellectual framework you have used to set up your belief system. Prayer also works in a similar manner. In the past, it has been thought that you prayed, and a spiritual entity such as a god or goddess, holy spirit or some other higher being answered your question or granted your request. However, we now know that prayer itself is a method of activating these electrical pathways, and this stimulates the Law of Attraction which brings you what you ask for. The configuration of our universe is set up so that you are able to bring to yourself that which you need or desire by activating this electromagnetic system.

You may choose to simply receive the information you need yourself, or some people find they prefer to receive it through a deity, angel, spirit guide, or some other messenger. That is your choice.

No matter how it is received, spiritual communication can help you learn a lot about yoruself, can empower you, and can help you make decision about the future that are only right for you.
