Love is like a deep, warm pool
A power fuel
A breeze that’s cool
A sip of sweet
Massage my feet
Swoon I do
From all I knew
Of love’s truth complete.
I walk the life
Of lonely hunger
For the love
I could not plunder
But I found
Inside of me
The best that love
Could ever be.
I only walk
Through night and day
The path of love
And joy. I play
the music of
Unending pleasure
I drink it, feel it
Without measure
This joy, this goodness
Here today
No other one
Can take away
It’s part of me
Like flesh and bone
The dismal pain of life
Is only lure
To bring it home.
